Hi Haley! Welcome to the team! I think you can do it if you put your mind to it and outline a plan of action. Set mini milestones to reward yourself along the way. Schedule exercise into your day and plan in advance what and when you're going to eat. There are a lot of tools on SP to help you too.

I'm Haley, 20 years old from Michigan. I'm going to school for culinary arts. Just joined yesterday, but I've lurked around here on and off in the past. My overall goal is to lose 50 lbs by my birthday (11/14). I've always been sort of overweight, but have such a hard time committing to diets and exercising. Mostly because I've pretty much always found friend that accept me, and so I never had the self-hating fueled urge to go on crazy diets or run for hours. I really just wanna be healthy for me, and prove to myself I can. Anywaaays, I love to talk to new people, so don't be shy!
