I have been working out almost everyday, even if it's just a walk around our local park. My hubby has been keeping my kids busy while I go, it takes me about a half hour to walk 2 miles (even quicker if I jog!) It has been really helpful to be able to go without my kids. I started by only working out while they were in bed to make it easier on my hubby but now he is supportive if I want to go before/ after dinner to make my life easier. I am down 25 pounds now and I am very happy with my progress!!
The tips on exercising in the winter are so useful! I was so thankful when I finally got a working treadmill in the basement. It has revolutionized my ability to stay motivated about my fitness! Have y'all ever tried mall walking? I have a friend whose husband watches the kids while she goes to Curves. I don't see how she fits it into the family schedule. . .more power to her!

Well, I have been here with sparks for over 2 years, but I have been dealing with my weight for almost my whole life. I don't go out in the winter too much as I have asthma and the cold means I can't breathe well outdoors while exercising. I have a treadmill in my basement for cardio, plus I make reasons to go downstairs alot to have to get in exercise on the steps. I also love my powerbands, free weights and stability ball. Have you taken a look some of the fitness things here on sparks yet? There are plenty of things that you can do without needing tons of equipment and in some cases, no equipment at all and still get a good workout.
