Hi, I'm a mother of two young adults. My son is 18 and my daughter is 20. I joined sparkpeople to help in my weight loss. I would love to lose 50 pounds but would be happy just to lose 30. 7 years ago I joined a womans workout center and lost nearly 60 pounds in two years. Then family issues, stress, and some other things slowed me down and I started slowly gaining it back. Over the past 5 years I've gained back 30 pounds (give or take). I really just like to get those 30 pounds back. I still workout at least 3 times a week. I try to watch what I eat but I'm not a dieter. I've added Kettlebell and started using the gazelle that I purchased for my husband. I work outside the home so it's hard to make the time somdays but this means a lot to me. Both of my parents have had breathing trouble. (on oxygen 24-7) and my mom has diabetes. I'm trying to avoid these for myself and set an example for my children.
