Hi! Welcome to our team. My weight loss started off just like yours. I am so much better about exercise than I am monitoring my eating, but SP has really helped with that. Blogging has been helpful also to help me be mindful of emotional and impulsive eating. My weight loss is slow also, but that is a good thing IMHO. I am glad to have you here! Best of luck!
Hello, team. I've been in Spark People for over a year--have tried several teams and decided to stick with just one. Until this week that is, when I found out about this team. I'm a school psychologist with 30+ years of experience, working with a special education cooperative. I need to lose at least 50 pounds. Until recently, I haven't had much success with the weight loss part, but have made a commitment to exercise. Facing many changes at work and stress with family health issues--fairly typical for a 60-something woman--but I need to either learn new and better coping strategies or find a better way to implement the healthy ones I already know about. kater-c
