Hi. I just signed up and was looking through the site and found the SE MA team. Since I live in Seekonk, I figured it would be a good place start off.

I had my annual physical a few weeks back, and I weighed in at a number I never thought I would hit... 300. I have always been a bigger guy in terms of overall build. I was 225 when I graduated high school, 250 when I graduated college and 275 for 15 years after college until this year when I hit 300. (Funny how 25 pounds over time adds up to quite a bit of weight.)

I signed up for a weight management program through my health insurer, and the counselor pointed me to this website. The set up looks to be user friendly so I am looking forward to taking advantage of all the tools.

Ultimately I have 2 weight driven goals. Firstly I need to secure additional life insurance, so I need to lose weight so I fall into the acceptable weight/height range. Secondly, I am hoping to begin officiating college football this year so I need to be in shape; otherwise, I wouldn't be any good to the officiating crew and the teams.

I wish you well.
