I definitely plan my own meals! I agree with everyone else, it does give you an idea of what to eat! The most important thing I have discovered for me and pretty much everyone else, is you need to eat often! Obviously eat good things, fiberous carbs instead of starchy carbs, raw fruits and veggies are the most nutritious, and lots of water! This keeps your metabolism up. I mean if you give your stomach something to do often through out your day...then it is constantly burning and digesting food, thus keeping energy up and metabolism up! It truly has helped me alot! Keeping insulin spikes at bay is important!
