I havent been on Sparkpeople for a while, like almost a year since I last posted in this group. But Im back cause I need some like minded support!
In April after a 4 month "fit" of eating what I wanted with in reason, and being healthy, I gained a lot of weight, I realized I may not be the type to drop crazy amounts of weight, but my body is healthier when I eat this way.
In April I did 20 days of paleo, and Ive been paleo consistently since April 16. Im tracking with stickers on my calendar. I have not been on the scale since April 1. Im hoping that by June 1 I will have been able to reverse the damage I did. At least a good portion of it, if not all. It easier to gain than to lose. I will probably do. Whole 30 in June or July when my family travels and I have more control over the food in the house.
Right now Ive managed to get my teen and pre teen kids to eat paleo 3x a week. Eventually that will increase. And at some point we will live in a full out grain free household (as ling as I live with my parents that wont happen).
