We're all in the same ocean if not the same boat ;) Anytime, ask questions or share your success or places you could use some encouragement!

Make sure you get a rest day in there with workouts etc too, I do strength three days and cardio three days, because my cardio is only 20 min based on time. If I could do longer I'd probably do it 2x. After the current challenge I may switch it up based on results.

Thank you for the advice I was planning on working out and walking 4 miles each day i didn't think about being tired and probably having a caffeine headache! Caffeine headaches are the worst but I have gotten migraines since I was 15 so I can handle them it's the sugar withdrawal I'm worried about.

Bfast for me is usually 2 eggs with spinach blended in, 1/2 an avocado and some fruit.

Walking... what seasonings do you use for your fried butternut? And just in a pan with some oil? Thinking of trying that but often find butternut to be a bit too sweet naturally....

I eat ham or bacon, 2 eggs, half an avacodo an a cup of fried butternut squash nearly every day for breakfast.

Welcome! I'm coming a little bit more from a low-carb plan perspective but think that what I say still applies to Paleo. Make sure that you get enough fat so you don't feel hungry and also make sure that you get enough salt. Be prepared to cut back on your exercise for the weekend and rather fit in an extra nap if needed. Also try to keep things low stress and don't worry at all about counting calories. Just enough movement to enjoy yourself, like a low-key walk or hike or some fun and games are great. If the caffeine part seems very hard you can gradually, over the course of a few days, replace more and more of each cup of coffee with decaf and it will be much easier.
Best wishes,
Birgit

Hi my name is Yvette, I just found out about the whole30 a few days ago and my husband and I decided we would go on the diet starting Friday! The reason we are starting on Friday is so we can deal with head aches and sugar withdrawals during the weekend and not suffer too much at work.

I have a few questions, how do you get over the sugar withdrawals and caffeine headaches? And how long do they normally last? Also, my main concern is breakfast does anyone have any good breakfast recipes?

Thank you for your help I appreciate any advice and encouragement I can get.
