emoticon ... Sounds like you know what you have to do. Take your time, you don't have to change every thing "today"... it's a process, not a quick fix, so there is a lot of room to grow! Personally, I love this lifestyle and have made the most progress in weight loss and other health markers with this way of eating.

I cut out sugar in my coffee and oatmeal (pre-paleo) by substituting cinnamon. Something I now can't live without. Add it to squash, carrots also.

I'm new to the Paelo style, I've read several books and have ordered a couple of cook books. I'm a big time foodie and love to cook but believe there is just something not right in my diet. I can't seem to lose weight no matter how hard I try so I thought I'd give this an attempt.

I work wiht several people that are athletes and have lived the Paleo life for many years and they convinced me to give it a try - I think they just want me to cook for them LoL.

So, I'm not sure where to begin - I'm going to work on cleaning out my cabinets next week - I have a lot of holiday baking to do for family and friends which means I have a lot of "bad" stuff in my pantry. I don't typically eat what I bake - I'm the devil and just give it all away.

I haven't had a soda in over 10 years but am hooked on coffee with sugar free creamers which I'm sure I'll have to give up. I've been converting to tea but am really worried about giving up stevia - it is the only form of "sweet" I get. I don't eat candy or gum and very rarely I have fritos.

I try to shop locally grown and in season I guess one of the biggest challenges I have is bread - I love it. But, I have been getting rid of visible wheat for about the past month and I guess now is time to start getting rid of all the rest.

I look forward to moving forward with this new lifestyle and I'm sure I'll have a ton of questions.
