Cheri-The big difference here is, like Egalitaire says it's a significant lifestyle change not a diet. I wish that word would be dropped actually. The focus should be on improving health so while a lot of folks lose a lot of weight I hope you really find you feel better and get healthier than you have ever been!!!!

I have been easing into this way of eating for a couple of months. I didn't have much weight to lose, but I've lost 2 1/2 lbs. (and revised my goal), but I've lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist and that is significant!
I hope you'll enjoy this diet too.

Welcome - if you mean Paleo or Primal eating as the "yet another diet" it sounds like you have tried a few things, so hoping this one helps you achieve your goals.

Which is really an important aspect of the Paleo/Primal world. Many who have success are looking for more than weight loss, they are looking for healthful living, which actually goes beyond just nutrition, although nutrition can be a foundation.

I have been eating Primal for almost a year, and while I have lost about 60 pounds so far, the non scale victories have been as significant.

It sounds cliche, but this really is a lifestyle. It really is about changing some of our paradigms, including the thought about diets.
