Hello everyone, my name is Sam Smigiel. As of tomorrow, August 7, I will be taking my first dive into the Paleo lifestyle. I have heard a lot about it over the past few months and am very intrigued by it. For the most part I have been eating a "natural diet" by today's standards and had good success, but due to some recent health issues popping up I decided to give this a shot and see what comes of it. My main goal is to be fit and healthy and I really feel like this is a great way to do that. I decided to dedicate the next 30 days to my interpretation and understanding of the Paleo diet and re-evaluate how I feel at that point to see where I want to go from there. In addition to joining this community, I decided to start a blog to document my experience to help myself keep honest with it and maybe even help myself or someone else learn something in the process. Feel free to check it out on my SparkPage if you're interested in following along. I will definitely be checking in from time to time with questions and hopefully some answers as time goes on.
