If they can carry an insulated lunch bag with a small ice pack you could add tuna salad (made with olive oil instead of mayo), hard-boiled eggs, even lettuce and other raw veggies. It will be more work, so if you can help them out by doing more of the food prep and by making it look appetizing by mixing colors that will help.
You can talk to God all you want and that's great, but the changes happen when you start listening to him.
