LeslieJean, I like to fry up some turkey sausage on Sunday and then each day I mix some in with some scrambled eggs. You could just add it in every morning if you have time. I like to throw in some veggies yesterday. If you eat dairy you could do cottage cheese and tomatoes or I love cottage cheese mixed with yogurt. I know most Paleo folks don't eat dairy but it doesn't seem to be a trigger for me or give me any problem. The cookbook Make it Paleo and Everyday Paleo have some good breakfasts. I love the recipe for mashed sweet potatoes mixed with crumbled sausage for breakfast.
I make a few new recipes a week, but try to keep it to things my whole family would eat. But, keeping simple, easy go to foods on-hand makes it easier! I premake homemade sausage and beef balls, similar to mike's recipe and, of course bacon and eggs.

It's impossible :) I don't have. I like it simple, so open fridge, take something , wash and have salad. I use no salt, pepper, mayo and anything similar, just mixed herbs. The only recipe is meat balls : take beef , one egg, and mixed herbs. Mix together, make small balls and 20min in the oven - that's it.
I like 1 big onion and some beef fried in coconut oil - when the are done add 3 eggs and fry everything until ready - very yummy.

Hi Dakota106, In fact anything from milk is no no. But as this is extracted from milk should be ok, as this is pure fat and have nothing common with milk. In my case I don't use it, as there's nothing I eat what needs butter. The only fat I use is in grass fed beef, avocados and coconut oil .

Thanks, I know Whole30 already. Anyway ... I had had ocassionally something very cheating here and there, and decided no more ! That was cheating on my own body. Weight loss is practically very easy now, even with fruits everyday. Some say - cheating one day a week helps, but from my point it's useless. Maybe it works for non Paleo guys, who knows.
I would say - my Whole30 challenge extending lifetime. The only drawback is family, they call me crazy

Robyn, Welcome! You might want to check out the website for Whole30. Hopefully you will adjust better this time than last but if you do mess up once in a while just climb back on board. What did help me this time was doing a Whole30 challenge (sounds like what you are doing kind of) and it really kicked the cravings. Good luck!

Welcome to the Paleo community, as if I could speak for the whole community. All the best. What I have noticed for myself and for others is those who see Paleo/Primal as a framework and not a prescription tend to have the most long term success.
In other words, if what you try first doesn't work - keep tweaking until you find what does work - don't give it up.
P.S. MikeCalm - congrats on the great results - I have had similar success, both on and off the scale.
Since January, I have been really experimenting w/my diet. I read Wheatbelly and that really put me off wheat and made me seriously look at the amount of carbs in my diet. Now I'm working my way thru Good Calories, Bad Calories. OMG, that is some heavy reading. I've tried Paleo in the past but didn't stick w/it. The last couple months, I seem to be really moving back in that direction and this time it seems right. I've been lurking here for about a week. Well, I just signed up for a 6 week Paleo Challenge sponsored by a local Paleo Living meetup group. I can do anything for 6 weeks, right? Sooo.. starting next Sat., ready or not, it'll be all paleo all the time or at least the best I can do. I look forward to learning more w/this group.
