Hi I'm Nicole. I've been on SP since 07', but Ijust started the Paleo Challenge with my Crossfit box on Wednesday. I am also doing the zone diet. I was doing a 1 Year Challenge to lose 100lbs in a year and killing it, I lost 70lbs in 7 months and ran a 1/2 marathon and then life got in the way and something out of my control happened so I paused the challenge at 7 months and will start again when I am settled. Sadly I have gained 30lbs in the last 3-4 months as I have not been working out due to a knee injury and the fact that my life changed overnight. I have started going back to crossfit and just doing core and upper body and doing Paleo/zone and the pounds are already dropping. My goal is to have the 30lbs back off by my birthday- July 21st, that gives me 6 weeks, which with Paleo and my meds (they have a weight loss factor) should be doable.
This week was a soft start, but I haven't cheated at all- what's the point, it isn't that hard! Detox set in last night, pretty bad headaches, body aches, though that could be soreness from crossfit, and nausea- but that is very light and that was only before breakfast. I say I'm fairing pretty well and as I have no addictions to drugs, alcohol, tobacco or caffeine- I am hoping these are the worst I get.
