What type of psych meds? Antidepressants can have an effect on appetite. Are you getting enough protein and fat thoughout the day?

I would suggest eating some protien in the morning even if not especially hungry. This will help regulate your blood sugar and stave off evening binges. I would also suggest adding some magnesium in the evening. Also, glutamine can be helpful but I would check with your MD before adding single amino acids.

The other option is your carbs may be too low. How many carbs are you eating a day and from what source and what is your activity level?

Using the Nutrition Tracker will help you be more aware of how much you are eating. Also eliminating foods that are high in calories from your home will help reduce your calorie intake when you do eat a lot. Good luck!

Is anyone else in this group Paleo or Primal and taking psych meds? I find they have really affected my appetite in the day I am not hungry and at night I binge. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?
