Thank you for your replies!
I guess I also like the "soft" cheeses and yogurt so I will stick with those. My favorite is feta!
I still have some whole milk, cream and whole yogurt.

I stopped drinking milk (even though I love it), but my tummy seems to do better with dairy like soft cheeses, yogurt and sour cream.

I don't do dairy except the occasional splurge, or some goat cheese because I am intolerant of casein, not because I think it is forbidden. I would eat it if I could.
I eat dairy but seem to have no problems doing so and it's not like an everyday thing. Greek yogurt is a good protein source with the right kind of fat.

Hi. I am new to the team and now that I am so close to my goal weight (my tracker does not reflect my original weight from back in 2007 when I lost 50 pounds) and I am looking for a lifestyle of eating I can live with.
I am not into processed carbs (except occasionally) and have always loved meat! and raw or steamed vegetables.
When looking at the basic list of food Paleo recommends, I feel like I am looking at the way I ate as a kid and a teen (when my max weight was 110 even though I ate whatever I wanted (mostly meat) whenever I wanted (sometimes big meals and sometimes a day of hardly anything because I didn't feel hungry)
This pretty much sounds like I was on this "diet" until I got married and had kids. I guess it is the best diet for my body, but I think I tuned out my body and when I needed to lose postpregnancy weight, I did it with low fat etc and whatever the "experts" of the time were spewing. I should have just listened to my body years ago and patented the diet (LOL!) I am glad to see it works for many people and I do not have to avoid things like beef, lamb etc.
My one question was about dairy... yes or no. I like some dairy... cheese and yogurt, but not straight milk.
I am looking forward to chatting with all of you on this team page!
