I've been subscribed to Mark Sisson's email newsletter for a while and I am currently reading "The Primal Blueprint" and like a lot of what it says. I'm already eating fairly close to "paleo" but have been encouraged to add fasting which I think is been good for me. I try to get 14 to 16 hours within every 24 of no eating, only water and apple cider vinegar.
I eat mostly green, leafy veggies, fruits, meats, nuts, seeds, eggs and dairy. And a bit of oils esp. coconut oil. Not much grain to speak of any more.
I just want to see what you guys are talking about here.
Hospitals are terrific for traumatic care; for acute care. They do a really, really good job in saving lives when it’s a sudden bleeding emergency. But in terms of chronic care, they’re terrible; (that is) in terms of the illnesses that most people have, endure, that cost the most money, that last the longest and ultimately die from. -Dr. Andrew Saul
