I am 50, and in Ohio, but closer to Dayton so I think real-life running buddy is out of the question...! We shift gears in my house in the winter; hubby likes to cycle, so we focus on spinning in the winter, and I supplement with running on the treadmill when time permits. I'll head outside when it gets warmer.

Welcome...I too had to back out of the MCM, although mine was due to a calf issue that came up 6 weeks out, so I deferred until this year. I wish you all the best with your running.
I am a 52 year old native of Ohio. I started running last year and love it! Did the Cleveland and Akron half marathons. My longest run was 20 miles in preparation for the Marine Corps Marathon. Unfortunately I missed the start of the race b/c my hubby ended up in the hospital. *he's OK now)
Trying to get back in the swing after too many months off. Cold weather and a dislike of running on my tread mill are slowing me down. I joined the group to get some "sparks" of inspiration!
Any runner my age and level in the Uniontown Ohio area looking for a running buddy let me know!
Looking forward to using the forum for a daily check in and help.
