emoticon from Orange County! I sounds like you are definitely ready to take charge and stay on the right track - good for you!! I find that exercise like walking helps a lot with depression, so does protein but carbs make it worse and so does dehydration and not getting enough sleep. Figure out how to take baby steps, just keep it up, don't worry about slips or small setbacks and you'll reach your goal. Good decision to join us here!!

I can imagine how u feel. ! For me. I read a lot on the site. Cause it helped me how to go about getting started. I started slow with walking and started eating healthy and less. The best thing is know this is a journey and it takes time so don't feel bad. It can be done but know little goals are the way to go !! Here for you hugs. !

Hey Caitlyn:

Do one thing at a time so all this doesn't overwhelm you. If you haven't been exercising - try walking 10 minutes maybe twice a day. While you're doing this, read about calories and how to approach a new menu for yourself....but don't go crazy with trying to exercise too much and eating too little. We're here to offer suggestions. Good luck on your journey. Oh yeah, set small goals.....5 pounds at a time.

Hello my names caitlyn and I am extremely over weight! I am ready to take charge of my body and be healthy for my family! It is very difficult for me to begin. I have no idea where to start and when I start to feel the littlest bit of confident I am automatically sunked back into and very draining depressionand feel so stuck and feel as if ill be this way forever! I'm in need of help please!
