Sofia!! You've come to a great place - the good news about SparkPeople is that it has so many amazing resources, articles, videos, etc - the bad news about SparkPeople is that it has so many amazing resources, articles, videos, etc.
In other words, I think everybody has felt a little overwhelmed at times but don't try to 'do it all' in one step - just take your time, explore the site and take advantage of some of the videos that explain the site - click on the HELP button at the top of the screen and you'll find all sorts of explanations, videos and articles to help you figure it out.

Welcome from Temecula,Calif.Take it one day at a time,Drink your water,walk a bit every day,even if just to the mail box.Write down everything that goes in your mouth(my failing)Set a goal such as 4LBs a month.Don't look at the weight needed to be lost.That can be overwhelming .

Don't expect to figure everything on the site out right away. Months after I started here, I was still finding new things I didn't know about. Focus on what you need most. Tracking food is a very common starting point. At any time you can get to that from the start page. Ditto for tracking your fitness activity, which can be walking or short videos at first.
