It's ironic, isn't it, how much things change between our childhood and adulthood, haha! But no matter what has happened in our past, we can't change that - all we have to deal with is NOW and making changes today will give us a brighter tomorrow so I'm really glad you have found us and joined the team!
Sounds like you are on the right path because you are already seeing progress - good for you! I always suggest taking baby steps for lasting change instead of trying to 'change everything at once' and feeling overwhelmed as a result. I'm looking forward to getting to know you thru SparkPeople so be sure to post blogs and messages often!

Hello to Everyone. I'm new to this, so please take that into consideration when you read this.
When I was a child, my mom worried because I was so thin. The doctor told her not to worry about it, and that when I stopped growing up, I would start growing wide. My mom didn't listen and made me take a tonic every day, anyway. So, here I am now.... 64 years old... and I've been fighting to control my weight most of my adult life.
I have great hopes for this program, and am seeing some progress already.
