from Lynda in Orange County! I'm so glad to hear you are taking care of your diabetes - my SIL was Type 1 and died from complications at an early age, leaving two young children. It may have occurred anyway but she did NOT watch her food and caused a lot of physical problems as the result - it's nothing to mess around with, that's for sure!

Hi! I'm Lindsay. I'm a type 1 diabetic, and from the time I got my first insulin pump I have struggled to keep my weight down. I love the saying "I'm not fat, but I have fat that I need to get rid of" because it fits me to a T! I'm not a fat person, but I sure do have plenty of fat to lose! I'm pretty tall so I "carry it well" whatever that means! I'm looking forward to sticking with this program, and so far (two weeks into it) I've lost 4 pounds and I don't really feel like I'm dieting! I just feel like I'm eating more healthily and treating my body a whole lot better, and that makes me happy :)
