back, April, from Orange County - sounds like you have good motivation so don't worry about the setback - it happens to ALL of us at some point or another! My best advice for success is to make small changes, one or two at a time, and don't try to change 'everything' all at once.
A good way to be ready to walk around Disneyland is to get a good pedometer and keep track of your steps. Walk your normal amount for 3-5 days to get an average of your 'baseline' number of steps. Add 5-10% to that number and strive to get that every day - when that feels 'normal' and you aren't wiped out by it, add another 5-10% and keep doing that until you can walk at least 10,000 steps in a day. Don't try to increase too fast because you can cause injuries and that will slow it down more than doing it in a sensible way. It won't take you long to reach the 10k level and that should be good enough to walk around Disneyland without having to stop every 3 minutes.
Good luck with your goals!!
