
from Orange County - I'm glad you've joined us! And don't worry, ALL of us have been in the same situation so we will definitely understand how you feel. I think the best way to turn things around is to pick one or two small goals to work on for awhile rather than trying to 'change everything' all at once - for instance, drink 8 glasses of water every day and go for a 30 minute walk [or even a 10 minute walk!!]. When that becomes 'habit,' you can pick another couple of goals to work on. This way it's less stressful, more likely to become PERMANENT and healthy over the long run - trying to do 'everything' and get quick results is stressful and makes us want to give up because it's so hard. Anyway, give it some thought, join a challenge or two and work on consistency for the best results!
