to the team from Orange County. I want to apologize for the delayed greeting! I've been way 'too busy' but even tho it's been awhile since you posted your introduction, thought I'd send my welcome message even tho it's late.
As for not fulfilling your daily carb/calorie requirements, that may seem like a good thing in the moment but it can cause long-term problems, ESPECIALLY for someone with a binge history. Best to find healthy foods and eat 5-6 small meals a day. That will help you get all the nutrients your body needs and will help to avoid triggering another binge. Good luck on your journey!

Fruits are probably the biggest group of low-fat, carb rich foods - so long as they are eaten plain. Legumes (lentils, soybeans, etc) are also carb rich, low fat, and high in fiber.

I just found Sparkpeople in April and it is a total blessing! I am a lifelong binge/emotional eater. Since starting with spark, I have not been able to meet my daily requirements of calorie intake because I honestly do not feel hungry. When I feel a binge coming on or am in the middle of one I think about writing in my food journal and that brings me back to myself. I usually never fulfill my daily carb requirement. Any suggestions for low-fat, carb rich foods? Thanks Everyone. :-)
