from Orange County! Sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia - my dad had that until we got him on gabapentin [Neurontin]. One big negative side effect was that it worsened his dementia, although it's hard to say how much - but when he first started it and then every time the dose was increased, he would seem very 'foggy brain' for a week or so until he adjusted. Anyway, I've heard that Lyrica works better with fewer side effects but the VA didn't cover that because there was no generic version. Anyway, that may or may not help you - I just wanted you to know I know what devastation fybromyalgia can create!
It sounds like you are following a great plan with the low impact exercises and eating well - I think the chemical changes we undergo when we exercise are so positive, it seems to help overcome a lot of things. Good luck with it!
