Welcome to the team and to Spark People. This is a great site with tools and resources that are very helpful and easy to use. I have found the trackers, especially the nutrition, to be my greatest ally. I am held accountable for everything I eat. I make sure that I track everything, even when I indulge. This has helped me to make better decisions for food and meal choices. This is why my first recommendation to everyone is to make sure that you use the trackers.

My name is Chante and I am new on this site, I read about it in the Womans World magazine and decided to take a try at it. I have only been on here for a couple of weeks and I am still trying to get the hang of it. I want to lose between 45-50 lbs. I am hoping to lose this weight within about 7-8 months. I would really like to get to kow other people that have had success on here and let me know some hints or any insight you might have. Hope to hear forom some of you.
