Dear LHASSELBA~ In the past 10 years, I've had 13 surgeries, so I know exactly what you mean! If you are able to do seated exercises, there are some great "Chair Workouts" available. There is one on this site under the Fitness Video section and on Amazon.com there is a series by "Stronger Seniors." If you can walk, then there is a slower version of Leslie Sansone's Walking exercise videos for "Older Adults."

I had emergency surgery in January and have gained 15 pounds! I have been up and down in my weight for the last couple years because of different medications, but now I am in a position where I can't exercise as I'd like to during the recovery process. I need some information and ideas on how to lose at least some weight slowly. I don't fit in my clothes and it makes me want to cry. I just went through a divorce as well and I am ready to go and look great!
