What I tell every newbie in my classes is #1, take it at your own pace. #2, Don't do a move that is painful or use equipment that makes movement painful. #3, Try to keep bringing your heels down to the floor; being on tip-toes for an hour is a good way to get calf cramps. #4, Have fun! If you decide to make a regular thing of water aerobics, it's a good idea to get water shoes; they provide traction and cushioning as well as some extra resistance and protection. And back again to #4--have fun!!
Hi everyone. My name is Amy. I'm sorry I didn't say hello at first. I'm not actually in water aerobics at the moment but I'm going to be signing up for it this month. I'm really looking forward to it. I love swimming and being in the water and from what I hear you get a really awesome workout from it. Does anyone have any tips for a beginner?
