Hello and welcome to the team. You can do this. Set small goals and reward yourself for reaching them. Just hop on Spark and read the articles. There is so much information here. Finding the right support with teams is really important too. A team that has wonderful support is "The Slowest Loser"; I am on that team as well. They have about 7 co leaders and the support there is amazing. They talk about everything and they have exercise challenges for everyone.
I think of Spark like a puzzle; you see the bigger picture (weight loss) when you put all the little pieces together (aim for 8 hours of sleep, aim for 8 cups of water a day, track your food intake, exercise, and communication).
To get started, eliminate as much sodium, soda, chips, and cookies. The sodium causes water retention and the rest are empty calories. Pay attention to everything you put in your body. Make your own food instead of buying premade items; they contain oodles of sodium. Oh there is so much to discuss. As you can probably guess, I love Spark. I am doing more exercises, eating better (5 fruits/vegetables a day) and I have more energy. I put it in writing and make it happen. Of course I fall off the wagon, but I get right back on right away.
Have fun in Disneyland. If you do not do so already, go to email preferences and sign up to receive food showdowns emails. This gives you daily emails to help you make healthy choices for restaurants and fast food places. I am getting better at guessing the healthier choices.
Enjoy the weekend.

Hello I'm not new to loosing weight it's been eight years and I am obese! I have been on every diet you can think of. Now I'm sick of thinking like a diet and want to change my lifestyle for good. What bothers me is I keep yo-yoing on the scale I have done this for the past eight years.
I will loose ten pounds then gain ten pounds back. I need to really set my focus on being healthy. I am leaving for Disneyland this Sunday with my Fiance. I need to keep in mind that just because I'm on vacation doesn't excuse me for eating unhealthy.
I weight 263 I seem to stay between the ranges of 255 to 265 I really need to get this right.
