Yeah I told the doctor what exercise routine I'm involved in and he seemed happy with that but the Medication makes me feel fuzzy in the head and swimming amplifies it. I swim about 2 hours after eating. My hubby seems to think it was not eating enough, but I wasn't sure, the last time I did swimming training like this I had my mum to look after me and make sure I ate what I needed.lol. I swim tommorrow so I'll eat 30 mins before and see how I go with that. Thanks for the speedy reply.
Boobalee, do you eat something before going swimming?? I felt like you a couple of times when I went in with an empty stomach. About your blood pressure meds, not sure if they influence this. I think you might want to check that with your doctor, btw: did you get the doctor's OK to go swimming??
Let us know how you're doing. Aldana

I'm middle distance swimmer I like to do 800m and 1500m swims. I hadn't swam in ages and had to build myself up to those distances and I can do it consistently now BUT lately around the 250m mark I start to feel nauseous and disorientated and I have to stop, and I fell nauseous for about 2 hours after the swim. The pool is an indoor heated pool, although it has happened in the outdoor non heated pool but not as bad. I'm an blood pressure medication. I don't know much about the sort of calories I should be having for this kind of swimming but I eat around the 1300. Or do you think it may be serious???????? Very concerned.
