HI Courtney and MaryJ, welcome to the team. Courtney, I also get ravenous on the days that I swim, but I can't eat or drink anything prior to swimming or it lays on my stomach like a lead brick. So needless to say, I swim first thing in the morning, then I eat and drink right after my workout. I usually try to eat something with come carbs and protein right away along with a big water. Then later, maybe about 2 - 3 hours later, another light snack just to keep my appetite from going crazy before dinner. Good luck with getting back into a routine. hugs, Cheryl

Hi,
My name is Courtney and I am getting back into swimming by joining a masters swim. It really kicks my butt, but I need that or I would keep up a slow pace. My challenge is that it is at 5:30 am and I tend to get really hungry those days. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,getting back into this once again hope to stay on track
I love swimming,started swimming about 2 years ago but now to get back
Serious with it 30 mins.4 days a week yes i can.Thanks everyone
