There recently was a study, asking why men lost weight faster than women. One of the reasons were that women don't work out as hard as a man. Not sure about that but I know if I want to lose weight I have to work faster and hard (more resistance) and do land exercises as well. Probably not what we wanted to hear.
Welcome to the team. I can't answer on that one. I myself am on a plateau since about August, and I swim continuous laps for an hour 5-6 days a week. My doctor said that maybe this is the weight I was meant to be. I told him to bite his tongue!

Hi, I joined Sparkpeople earlier this year and just discovered this team. I have been swimming regularly for almost a year, participating in Aquatic Aerobics and Running in Water. My weight loss has been slow even with swimming so want to find out if anyone can give me some advise.
