I just bought coconut oil. Tried a teaspoon in my oatmeal. I'll figure it out. I like the idea of it in a smoothie. I don't think I can just eat it straight. It's a chunk of calories....120 for 1 tablespoon. I know it's a good fat and I'll definately substitute it but just adding it where I wouldn't normally add fat and calories in boggling the mind. I try to stay between 1200 and 1500 calories. If you say 3-4 tablespoons there's 360-480 right there....is that really the best way to get calories?

Hi no its not in the stripped diet book I just got introduce to it here on sparks and I LOVE it!! I take in 3-4 tablespoons a day... I take 1 tablespoon melted with a little cold water swallow it with my breakfast then I do that agian in the evening with a snack as well then I use 1 tablespoon in my protein shake after my workout..I workout in the mid afternoon. Then I fry with it bake with it and cook with it its AWESOME and man does this work for cravings and hunger and its making me shrink lol. I don't use any other oils besides olive oil and a little bit of butter. I get my coconut oil at health food stores haven't been able to find it any where else yet. I hope this has helped.

No problem...but I have to say this...your AWESOME. Okay the only major difference in the two books is that Toscha allows some healthy sweetners in the eat clean diet...in the eat stripped book for 28 days she wants you to have no sugars at all so that is really it sticking to a no sugar diet for 28 days. And man I tell you with my coconut oil eating clean and no sugar (for 30 days)...I am SHRINKINGHoped this has helped. Have you tried coconut oil?? You should its AWESOME!

LAMOURA, what's the difference between Tosca's Recharged and Stripped book/plan? I know you have all her books. Do you mind sharing? Library doesn't have Stripped yet. I've read and I've been using Recharged. I'm running out of food ideas, wondering if I need a little boost. Maybe it's me, not the plan. Just looking for ideas. Everyone talks about Stripped. Just curious. Money is tight.....not sure about purchasing. Want your professional opinion :) Thanks. K~

Bummer this is not a very active team. LAMOURA that is a Great idea w/ the leftover turkey, my Husband dreads when I make Turkey due to all the leftovers. I love the Toscas book Recharged need to buy the Best Body one I keep getting it from the library. I too have been thinking of omiting sugar from my diet Oh boy do I need it.. Have A Great Clean Day. Hi, you bet I use protein powder I use a brand from costco called 100% Whey Protein, it just whey protein and nothing else no sugars what so ever added. Love it! I blend it with almond milk or non fat milk, one small banana, 1/2 cranberries and 1 tbsp. wheat germ. YUM! Here I did a little internet search and came up with this www.busywomensfitness.com/whey-protein.htm l for the benefits of whey protein...lol I just drink it because I like it and I can get my protein in a lot easier with protein powders added in once a day. And protein builds and repairs muscle. And I LOVE muscle!! I also buy turkeys a lot, then bake them and what I don't eat for supper I freeze in 85 gram serving baggies and when I run out of tyrkey I do it again lol, that way I never run out of a great protein snackHope this helped.

Do you use protein powder? If so, what exactly do you buy? How do you use it? It doesn't sound very "clean" and natural to me. What are the benefits? Although, being a poor meat-eater, and not liking tofu, I do struggle getting my protein. I do come pretty darn close though. Thanks.

I love eating clean!! I hope they get the Stripped book in soon for you as well. I am trying really hard not to eat any sugar for 28 days like Tosca in the stripped book suggested and with my moms cooking man is that hard...my mother moved in with me and my husband just in Octorber and she has been baking a lot for my hubby and I have been eating it as well....just finished up the chocolate cake and was so relieved it was gone because it was a battle to have only one piece a day forget about not having a piece at all, and now she wants to make another cake, I said please mom hold off for a week or 2....hopefully she'll listen, man its hard to eat clean when your mother moves in and all she likes to do is bake.

After I learned about her way of eating, I got her Recharged book from the library. I poured over it, took notes and implemented it right away. I immediately saw results. I have another one on hold from the library now. I hope it arrives soon. It's called Best Body Now. I'm very excited! I hope they get the Stripped book on their shelves soon! Way to go on your goals!

Hi, I so wanted to join this team because I own each and everyone of Tosca Reno's books!! When I joined and started using these books, sparks and zig zagging my calories I have lost over 20 inches of body fat - I don't like to weigh myself to me that is not important, whats important to me is how my cloths fit and how fit I am now, I still have a bit to lose but I know with these awesome tools I will acheive my goals!! I am now reading the Eat Clean Diet - Stripped. LOVING IT!! I think I am going to LOVE this team!! I know I love the concept of this team for sure!!
