Hi there, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I've been up and down for the last 10 years but lately I'm mostly UP and want to try and get back down. I'm 34 and married with two daughters 12 and 2 years old.
I have recently learned about the dyes in food and how they can affect young children and made the move to get my youngest daughter off of them, in the process I started learning about eating 'clean' and going organic. I bought Tosca's family book and read it in one day, I loved it! I don't plan on going ALL CLEAN, ALL THE TIME, but I certainly want to get a lot of clean foods into my family. I also read Jillian Michael's "Master Your Metabolism" and loved that, I'm waiting for her cookbook to arrive now. I did notice that a lot of Tosca's recipes seem to be a bit daunting with TONS of ingredients and things to prep...I am a busy mom and need quick, easy dinners most of the time. Hopefully I can get some advice from this group.
