I've had some success with the "diet" over the past few months and have lost about 15 pounds without tracking my food. One thing that I've found is helpful to me is to determine exactly what kind of food I'm craving... chips, chocolate, ice cream... and substitute a healthier alternative in a small portion. Like if I just want something sweet... I eat a piece of fresh pineapple. If it needs to be creamy... I add a bit of cottage cheese.
For chip cravings... a handful of edamame pods sauteed with sea salt and cracked pepper.
One of the keys is to keep the portions small and often.
Btw, have you been checked for diabetes or hypoglycemia? Do you find yourself indulging at the same time every day?

Hi everyone! I am new both to Spark and to Clean eating. I have read 3 of Tosca's books and love the idea of clean eating. Just one problem - my huge sugar addiction!! I seem to do well all day (meals) and then blow it around 3pm. I tend to binge eat from 3-4pm!! I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom with 2 boys (11 and 8), who are now picking up on my very bad eating habits. I am wanting to lose 40 lbs.
I have tried every diet, I last about 1 week and then go off and binge eat until I set a new diet date! I seriously want this for my health (I feel tired and run down all the time now). I just turned 38 and am 5'5 and weigh 183 (my highest weight ever). I have been trying for 7 years!!
Do you track foods/calories while eating clean with spark? Any advice and success stories would be great!
