Okay, so, note to self - buy kids their own snacks. I forgot to buy them their own fruit and veggies and ate all of mine!!!! Not cool. LOL but at least I don't have to worry about childhood obesity! I think its great they are in on this with me. (Believ me, I'm not saying they don't have sweet teeth, lol). It was really a long week this week and I know I'm making progress but I keep thinking I should be doing more...yet on teh flip side, I know I shouldn't go overboard either. Its hard to find the middle road when you are just starting out.....

Now, if I can just get through the weekend!

This is great - It is so much easier to do something when you have support. Thank goodness my husband is on board because he always tell me to keep going, even when I think I can't (he's usually right, lol).

& Thanks for all the welcome notes! I usually work 6-10 and then workout immediately after I get done working. My kids even like to get into with me (My son is better at Zumba'ing than I am...lol). So, we'll see what week 1 brings next Tuesday. Fingers crossed! emoticon

Welcome! I just joined too - today is day 4 for me. I like the layout of Spark and it's a lot of fun. The people I've met so far are really supportive and pretty awesome. Good luck - you can do it! emoticon

My name is Catherine - my sister introduced me to the world of Spark! Even though I just started, I love the layout! I have a lot of stress in my life and find that exercise really helps me to decompress. I like strength training better than cardio but I'll moan and groan my way to weight loss, :-) I just went grocery shopping tonight and really tried to make sure I bought lots of fresh fruit and veggies as well as some protein and dairy products. My husband is on board with me so that makes things a little bit easier, especially when I want to give up!

Oh - a little bit about me....I'm 33 and work at home typing (not a very active job....). On the flip side I have a ten year old son with Aspergers and a daughter who is 4 going on 30. They make up for my not so active job! I am taking online classes and am half-way through my final semester....5 more weeks to go!!!!
