Welcome from Allegheny County! I understand your struggles. I find that getting up and going for a walk really does help with the emotional eating. When you're sitting there feeling bad about yourself, it's great to do something positive for yourself and know that you can and did take control of your own life. So take a walk, add a vegetable to your dinner (even if the rest of it is junk), get a good night's sleep and take babysteps to a better you.

Hello from Western Pa! I just joined today. I am in bad need to lose about 10-20 pounds because my back and feet pain makes it difficult to move about. I also try to keep bad mood and depression at bay because when they attack I just sit and eat. Hope to find lots of motivation here.
