Hello Spark Community!
This is more of a "Thank You" than an introduction, although I have to admit, this introduction is long overdue. To be honest when I first joined Spark People I didn't think I would be able to stick with it. I've tried everything from diet pills to vigorous exercise routines, however I never saw the results I wanted.
Than one day, I came across the Spark Pages website by accident and I haven't looked back since. Since becoming a Spark member I can honestly say I have made a lifestyle change, and I'm seeing the results to prove it!
I was too embarrassed to post before pictures when I first became a member because again, I didn't think this site would take me anywhere. Now I can honestly say posting my before, during and after pictures has been a large part of my motivation. Pictures don't lie and if I wanted to make a change, I had to stop lying to myself.
Now I document everything I consume, all my activities and I post pictures or what I call "progress reports" to make sure I'm on track to the healthy lifestyle and body we all work so hard to achieve.
I've reached my first weight loss goal and I've already set my second goal for the end of July. As exciting as all this is, the only thing more exciting is the fact that I'm just getting started. I'm looking forward to staying true to my new lifestyle forever.
