First I'd like to say congrats to you for putting you first and getting out of the bad relationship. I think that's most important. It takes a lot of courage to do that. You are a very strong women, I can tell that already.

Hello all! My name is Missy and I'm a 38 y/o mother of 3 boys. (21, 18, &10) I spent the last 15 years in an abusive relationship and have recently left and found happiness. After the last year of living in my bedroom to avoid confrontations, I have really packed on the pounds! I have slowly been putting on weight since the birth of my 10 y/o, but the past year is where the majority of it came from. I have changed every aspect of my life recently, new home, new man, new job. Now is the time to throw a new body in there too! Most of my weight is lower body, so if anyone has any exercise ideas I'd love to hear them! I will admit that when it comes to meal plans, I'm not so great. I'm a very picky eater, but I usually eat only once or twice a day. I'm not a very hungry gal. I spent years being anorexic & belumic when I was younger. I have it under control for the past 15 years now, but still have never had a "normal" appetite, if there is such a thing. I will need losts of help to stay motivated!
