drink more water; use some of the dvds on the site that are just intended for upper body. I have a bad knee also, but have found that every pound lost has allowed me to be more active, lessens the burden on my knee(s). I also got over a plateau by eating a lot of romaine lettuce, either by the bag, or cleaning the heads, and munching on the big leaves. really runs more water thru your system and helps clear up water retention issues.

Hi! I just started Spark People the middle of September and have been following the program religously. I am staying within my calorie points on a daily basis. The exercise is a little harder for me to do. I have a bad knee so that limits my exercise ability to basically walking. I have been doing that but that has been giving me problems as wells. Every time I get on the scale it does not budge. I neither gain or lose it just stays the same. Does any one have any ideas on how I can start to lose weight again?
