My personal experience is the second time around is a lot easier. You basically know how to use the site. You learn to do favorite groupings of foods to make logging faster. You learn to "save a few calories" for going out with friends or a special treat without going over the total for the week. You're finally ready to be honest and log everything - and let other see, because you know it will keep you accountable.

And after the second time, you understand it would be better to make this a life time trip with occasional treat days, rather than spending the rest of your life being sorry and having excuses.

Welcome back....now one more to keep me on track!

Hi Sparkies. My name is Kimberley.

I used to be such an active Sparkie... until one day I made a horrible turn on my journey and ended up leaving this awesome place. I started eating all the wrong types of foods (like chips, cookies, diet pop, fast food etc etc etc)... and, before you know it... it is September 4th, 2012 --- and I have done nothing but gained weight .. and feel horrible. :(

SO... that is why I have returned to SP. I am hoping this time... I stick it out .. until I get to my goal weight and even beyond. Because what do they all say? The journey doesn't have a finish line. I know what needs to be done... it's just doing it ... is the hardest part.

Anyway, hope you all had a great Summer... and I am looking forward to making some friends on here.
