I may have seen that. I went to one site and found a poultry farm not far from me. We also bought from a local guy- some beef. More and more tbh though, I think about the animals eating any kind of meat.

Hi Bonnie, ditto what you said. I just found a website calledEat Wild [insert your state] which hooks people up with local farmers committed to raising animals ethically. I have yet to buy anything but am planning to soon

I am less and less comfortable with factory farming and also older and not digesting meat as well. Meat eating is not a moral issue for me, but eating tortured and cruelly killed ones is. I get my eggs from a local friend, drink mostly soy milk, and am moving away from red meat and more meatless meals. Anyway, I am glad to find this board.
