Hi there, I've been a semi-vegetarian (eating fish/seafood but no other types of meat) for about 13 years.
I'm a part-time yoga teacher and I also work at a full-time job. I split up with my husband last August and moved in with my boyfriend a few months ago. I have lost weight previously on weight watchers but have been putting on weight recently with stress and lifestyle changes. I want to lose about 15 lbs.
I have moved 3 times since August and will probably be moving again (hopefully permanently this time!) in the next few months. Most of my stuff is in storage, including my kitchen stuff, which makes it challenging to cook the healthful meals that I used to. Plus my new boyfriend is a total meat and potatoes guy and inhales pastries and junkfood. I think he is one of those skinny-fat types as he works at a fairly physical job.
I also now live outside of the city where I work, do most of my activities, and where my parents live, so I'm finding myself spending more time commuting. With the commuting and late days I often grab fast food if I haven't planned ahead.
I think that some of my lifestyle changes have been making it difficult for me to establish a regular routine, both with food and exercise, plus I sometimes allow myself to get sucked in by all the junk food that is in the house.
Ideally, I hope to find a "buddy" with similar goals and challenges where we can be accountable to each other.
