Hi! My name is Ellen and I have just joined! I live in UK like Linda (TUPPENCE) I had not noticed this team till I saw it on ASHERAH38's page. Looks interesting! So here I am!
Joining in this discussion, I do a lot of exercise and strength training and have also had difficulties getting enough protein without having lots of fat. I have flax meal and hemp seeds to start my day and often have beans for breakfast. Baked beans are good, but not a complete protein, so I try and have eggs and sweetcorn, skimmed milk, low fat cheese, Greek yogurt, both low fat and whole. Diet fruit yogurt as I am diabetic. I make myself a cup of Mocha in the morning with 8 fl oz skimmed milk, 1 tbsp cocoa and 5grams of coffee. That satisfies my chocolate craving and is high in anti-oxidants and fibre as well as the whole cup being high in protein. I like it without sweetener as the skim milk is quite sweet enough for me. Broccoli has also got protein as a lot of veggies have. Nuts and seeds are good and wholemeal bread has a certain amount of protein.

I get most of my protein from greek yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, whole grain breads and nuts. I still do eat chicken/turkey and seafood a couple of times a week.
