Hello and welcome! I also struggle with the conditioning as I was growing up. We were taught that a meal was not a meal without meat. I normally only eat meat once a week now as my partner gets upset if I do not eat meat with her. Anyway, I wish you much success in reaching all your goals in life.

Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.

No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.

If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.

Hi everyone... I am new to this so please be patient with me. I am a flexitarian... I enjoy meatless meals most of the time, but being that I was raised in the midwest... I have been brought up to appreciate the heariter meals in life. Although I have stepped away from the cream based soups and anything with gravy. I think its a texture thing for me. Anyway...
