Welcome to the team. I am relatively new here myself. I recently embraced the idea of having a green smoothie daily to increase the amount of greens I eat. Have also upped my servings of fruits and veggies. Have tried some new recipes with beans and brown rice. My DH is definitely a meat eater so I am trying to take baby steps.

This is a new team for me - because this style of eating is one that I really want to explore. Where better to get hints, helps, and good advice than from those who are already eating this way? I'm really looking forward to what this team has to offer!

Oh I am no good at introducing myself :P. I am a 38 year old housewife who has dealt with some major depression issues. I have put on a considerable amount of weight and would like to lose 100lbs in one year. I know by staying active here and being motivated by others, I can do it. I am looking forward to meeting new friends and watching everyone hit their goals!!!
