I'm new to Spark People and this is my first posting. For the last six weeks I've been doing the "Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type" diet, which pretty much narrows down the meats that I can eat to basically fish and turkey. I thought this diet would be pretty difficult since I would have to give up the majority of meats that make my usual rotation: beef, chicken, and pork. I honestly don't miss it much. Since being on this diet, I'll eat fish or turkey about once a week, if even that. If I want to have beef, chicken, or pork while I'm at a restaurant every once in a great while, I'll have it. I refuse to deprive myself. I do eat dairy, but much less of it by supplementing it with other "vegan" products on the market. My body has never really been good at digesting certain meats very well (always made me feel lethargic), so this is one of the reasons why I love being a "Flexitarian", I feel much more energetic.

I look forward to being a part of this group and reading up on everyone's stories. Thanks for reading mine!
