When I found this site almost 5 years ago I was so motivated. When I followed it daily I was motivated and stayed on track. and lost about 20 pounds. When I wasn't entering daily, I started gaining. In January I joined a 8 week challenge at my school where I am a Librarian. One of the challenges was to have a food diary. This was the perfect time to return to spark people and get healthy once and for all. My weight has been up and down the past few years , and I am tired of the yo yo. I am excited to be on track again.
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I didn't log on during the holidays. Still motivated towards my goals but trying to get my momentum back. How are you doing? I know the holidays are hard. I'm with you on this one! I did the same thing -- lost about 40 lbs two years ago, but I've put it all back on as I've begun emotionally eating to deal with changes in my life -- marriage, move, new job, etc. Both DH and I are sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, so we are at it again! Hi I'm starting back on sparkpeople. Two years ago I lost 50lbs using the great tools on this website. Unfortunately over the last 15 months I've gained back almost half of my weight. I've been suffering from fatigue, joint pain, muscle weakness, after a year of going to different doctors and testing I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos. I'm determined to stay healthy and lose my extra weight. I know it's going to be hard. Looking for some motivation and help with my goals. Thank you! :))
