Hi Everyone,

I have been doing a Turbo Fire/CLX/ Turbo Jam hybrid for several months now. I love Chalene, I think she is so encouranging and inspiring. I am so glad to see others here who are successful on these programs!

Welcome, Jennifer! I'm on the same schedule as Terrie, and I love CLX and TurboFire together, too. I am very, very against scales (for myself -- I don't care what other people do!) so I don't know what kind of progress I've made in that respect, but I have noticed a difference in my strength (especially shoulders) since starting the program a few weeks ago.

Terrie, knowing you use 8s makes me feel better about having to use the same (although sometimes I use 10 and 15 kettlebells when the grip is compatible.) Perhaps you remember that I once joked you would probably use heavy weights WITH a resistance band because you are CRAZY. Well, I tried it out for some of the lower body exercises, and it was actually pretty great, and not at all difficult to hold both, since I was using the tube-with-strappy-handles kind. If I don't get some 12s and 15s before PUSH, I may end up using that method more often, since I can't hold 3s or 2s with the 8s for more than a few reps.

Actual the biggest weights I have are 8 so that is what I am using! However I do go quite slow and resisting the movement a lot. I do want to get some heavier weights but it just is not in the cards right now.

I really like the Shakeology...I am drinking the Tropical Strawberry which is one of their vegan varieties. I have amazing energy with it and my hair and nails are really starting to grow like mad. I have never had long nails and they are really starting to grow and get very strong. I am just a Beachbody nut!

Wow! Down 9.75" that is awesome. I'm thinking I should add some more cardio to Charleans program. I do her bonus fat workout, Turbo Jam, but thats about it besides walking. How heavy of weights are you doing? I went from 8lbs to 12. I'm going to pick up some 15 or 17 this week. I really want to push myself to be stronger.

I haven't had tried shakeology, but I heard wonderful things about it.

I am week 3 day 2 (day 3 tomorrow) of the Burn phase of CLX! I am also doing TurboFire along with it and drinking Shakeology everyday...so far I am down 9.75 inches and 2 pounds! I also feel stronger and I can see some muscle definition starting to happen! I love Chalene Johnson so much...she is one of my favorite trainers!

Hi, I'm Jennifer!

I have been with Sparks for a couple of years now and made my goal weight but over the past year I gained 10lbs. for some reason. I exercise and eat healthy, but the weight is climbing, so I decided to start Chalean Extreme to help me get my mojo back. I really love strength training so I find this workout perfect for me!

I am currently on day 3, week 3 of the burn circuit. I feel like I'm getting stronger, but so far no change on the scale. I'm going to take my measurements on Saturday before I start Phase 2 on Sunday.

This is the only workout program that I have stuck too! I haven't gotten bored yet. I can't wait til the end of the 90 days to see if I have any results.
